Stoneware Bowl by Attila Olah
Bowl by local Merseyside maker, Attila Olah.
This bowl was made using a Sandstone (Stoneware) Clay, coated in a semi-transparent Feldsphatic glaze and fired to 1260°C. Attila's intention is to reveal the inherent beauty of raw materials as they overlap, resist and fuse into one another.
Dimensions: 10.5cm (H) x 19cm (Diameter)
Attila’s work explores the power of the vessel: over thousands of years, through association with birth, nourishment, ritual, celebration and death, the vessel has become deeply rooted in the human psyche. Attila explores the vessel as the archetypal symbol of the body through which the Self and that which is beyond the Self can be realised.
