This ceramic milk bottle is made using slipcast stoneware, decorated with inky blue and white illustrations, and gold lustre details, depicting scenes and people in Claudette's neighbourhood.

"Standing cow is part of a collection of fashion and fast food branded ceramic cows and illustrated milk bottles.  The collection's genesis was a family trip to Jamaica.  Montego Bay's first McDonald's had just opened.  In a neighbouring field stood a solitary cow.  I appreciated the irony of that." - Claudette Forbes
