These hearts are handmade at the Red House Glass Cone in Stourbridge, the heart of the UK's glass quarter, using hot glass techniques.
The hearts have been coated in coloured glass then covered with another layer of clear molten glass at a temperature of over 1100°C. They are then poured into a mould, where the glass takes on the shape of the heart.
