John O'Loughlin

John O'Loughlin was born in Chester and studied architecture in Bath, Helsinki, and London.

In 2013 he established JOL Workshop with the ambition of designing and making things - drawings, paintings, furniture, architecture - small things, big things, anything.

Recent works have been inspired by the quiet beauty and power of the sky. It's ephemeral nature, changing colours and passing clouds are a source of constant fascination.
