This beautiful hand thrown mug adorned with a bird sitting upon a cherry blossom branch by Julia Smith.
Julia’s glaze colours are reminiscent of seascapes with light reflected on the water or mist rolling in. Her drawings of mountains, forests, animals and trees are recreated as decals and fired on top of the glazes. Her illustrated earthenware ceramics are intended to be used and enjoyed every day.
