Silk and cashmere scarves printed from the 'Moorland' paintings series. These scarves are ethically produced and created using environmentally considerate dyes and natural materials.
The RubyKite studio is located near the River Thames and is surrounded by beautiful moorlands and pastures. The mixed media piece used on the 'Moorland' art scarves and accessories was painted on gypsum to create a chalky palette of Autumnal hues. The textures from the original piece, which include fine carved lines, are greatly magnified and create wonderfully abstract detail on a large scale.
