Ash Trug by Jane Crisp

The smallest vessel from Jane’s new range, use this Ash Trug for eggs, fruit or just as a sculptural piece.

The trug is built using craft skills Jane has developed that are inspired by traditional boatbuilder’s techniques and fixings. The Ash is steam-bent, crafted in a clinker like construction, fixed with copper nails and roves and finished with natural hard wax oil.

The lines repeat creating a flow within a solid structure and if the wind blows this trug rocks like a boat.
