Her singular work exists at the meeting point of memory, material and personal narrative, often incorporating antique objects to infuse each piece with a rich patina of time. Kim’s practice spans the disciplines of metalsmithing, drawing and printmaking through an ongoing exploration of the ancient technique of intaglio etching - the ‘bite’ of line into metal – which allows her to create the symbolically ‘charged’ surfaces that sit at the heart of her work. Ancient wisdom, sacred sites, folklore , goddess traditions, meditative motifs, and contemporary vision converge into a unique language with which she tells stories that nourish the mind and elevate the spirit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2555/9248/files/KS14_de7c4d48-9f20-42fb-8f7e-e16b60fd885a.jpg?v=1791297927
