Oak Log Trug by Jane Crisp

Use this Oak Trug for logs, kindling, vegetables or just as a sculptural piece. You can fit about a night’s worth of wood in it for a medium-sized fire.

The trug is built using craft skills Jane has developed that are inspired by traditional boatbuilder’s techniques and fixings. The Oak is steam-bent, crafted in a clinker like construction, fixed with copper nails and leather and finished with natural hard wax oil.

The lines repeat creating a flow within a solid structure and if the wind blows this trug rocks like a boat.
