Inspiration for this piece was taken from the bright and colourful Double-eyed Fig Parrot from Australia and Tiffany has placed him in the branches of a weeping Fig tree.
This piece has been thrown on the wheel, left to slightly dry and then goes through many different techniques using drawing, carving, clay slips and sgraffito to create the intricate designs onto the damp clay surface.
Every unique design has been created by hand with love, care and attention to detail. Each piece takes many hours and no two will ever look the same.
The piece comes with a disc hanger attached to the back, as well as four felt feet.
