Thoroughly contemporary in style, my jewellery designs reflect a love of pure shape and form, appealing to those with a minimalist aesthetic.Taking a studied, almost mathematical approach. I reduce forms to a balanced, geometric shape. A favoured way of working is to design a link that lends itself to various jewellery items. I enjoy solving problems of how to connect, link, pin, hang.

I was born and lived for 24 years in a Victorian terrace house on Canal Street, Newry, Co. Down. A black and white, minimal tile design on a now closed shop front further down the street that I walked passed on many occasions, invokes strong memories. I am not sure if the tile shapes, arrangement and mute colours influenced my graphic, minimalist design ethic! I peeled off a number of these tiles to use as a catalyst to design and make body of new work entitled FORM.
