These tusk and hoop earrings are made by local jeweller Kate Moult. The tusks are made from sterling silver using traditional jewellery techniques. Wax is hand carved into the tusk shapes and then cast into silver and finished by hand.
The hoops are made from sterling silver.

Kates work is a modern interpretation of tribal adornment. Drawing on ancient cultures such as African, Maori and native American for inspiration. Her jewellery is predominantly crafted in silver but also incorporates leather and a range of semi precious stones to produce a striking contrast. She designs to promote individuality, to make the wearer feel beautiful and to allow the unconventional to belong.
