"I am a UK based jeweller, using textile techniques to combine silver & found objects to make little pieces of wearable history. I use silver & hand stitched silk threads to add layers of colour & texture, & work with found objects from beach combing & metal detecting finds, as well as mudlarking along the River Thames. I particularly like those everyday objects, such as pins, buttons & nails, that have been made by the hands of past generations & show signs of a previous life & use in their shape, erosion or patina. They are worked on by my hands to give them a new chapter in their history.
