Sue's current body of work explores the forms and surface textures discovered through close observation of trees and bones. During her daily walks in local woodlands, Sue continues to find inspiration in the unexpected shapes of felled trees and the intricate nodules that grow from them. Working primarily with slow, repetitive hand-building techniques, she allows each piece to develop gradually and thoughtfully.
