Tiny Tina by Michael Brennand-Wood
£235.00
One of Michael Brennand-Wood's smaller wall pieces, made for the 2018 exhibition 'Miniaturists' at Bluecoat Display Centre. This piece is constructed to be viewed from a variety angles, with each new viewpoint revealing something different.
Dimensions: (W) 12 x (H) 12 x (D) 3 cm
As an artist, Michael is constantly exploring new creative territories and worlds that no one has inhabited before. He experiments with materials and how he arranges and puts them together, unsure of the outcome.
Michael works in particular with embroidery, pattern, lace and recently floral imagery in the form of wall pieces, as well as brooch accessories. The works are colourful, dramatic, rhythmic and possess intense detail. He explores and develops techniques, inventing many new and imaginative ways of integrating textiles with other media.
We are delighted to announce our next guided trip to The Williamson Art Gallery & Museum, Birkenhead on Saturday 25th February 2023, for a guided tour of his Encirclement of Space exhibition with Michael Brennand-Wood. Click here for details and to book a place.
