Please note: Whilst Michael’s hand-throwing is accurate, yielding very similar cups, mugs and espressos, there will always be slight variations in form and glazing. Michael Taylor works in rural North Devon in his workshop, Lone Ash Pottery, just outside the village of Ashwater. He studied ceramics at Bath Academy of Art. Michael’s domestic ceramics are stoneware. Everything is thrown by hand by Michael and decorated in glazes that best suit the form and function of the piece. One-off pieces include: large decorative centre piece bowls, kitchen pottery and table lamps.
