An oxidised tusk on leather with a piece of contrasting turquoise, finished with oxidised silver end pieces. The necklace can be knotted and worn at any length up to a maximum of 80cm. The tusk pendant is made from sterling silver using traditional jewellery techniques. Wax is hand carved into the tusk shapes and then cast into silver and finished by hand.

Kates work is a modern interpretation of tribal adornment. Drawing on ancient cultures such as African, Maori and native American for inspiration. Her jewellery is predominantly crafted in silver but also incorporates leather and a range of semi precious stones to produce a striking contrast. She designs to promote individuality, to make the wearer feel beautiful and to allow the unconventional to belong.
