Rike Lenzing

Rike is a German artist living in Ireland. She studied Fine Art at the Crawford College of Art and Design,Cork. She worked as an Artist, Designer and Maker for 40 years in Ireland.
Since setting up her jewellery business in 2021 during the pandemic, Rike has sold and exhibited her work with the following galleries:
- Glucksman Gallery, Cork. 2021-Present. (Winner of the 2022 Sustainability
Champion Award at the Glucksman Craft + Design Fair).
- NI Craft Gallery, Belfast. 2023-2025.
- Dazzle exhibition, Edinburgh and London. 2024

In May 2025 she completed a jewellery and silversmithing course in DSC College Cork. Rike loves paper because of its spontaneous, creative process of repetitive folding and braiding techniques. It is versatile and sustainable, feeling light and warm on the skin. Her pieces transform 2D cut paper strips into robust, weightless 3D paper structures. The outcome is a mysterious interplay of textures and vibrant colour variations
