Tom Pigeon
Tom Pigeon is the design studio and pen name of artist Kirsty Tanner. The studio was established on the east coast of Scotland 2014 and relocated to its Liverpool home in 2020. Kirsty works across disciplines including jewellery, printmaking, painting and collage. Her work is inspired by the colour and form found in our natural and built environments - flotsam washed up on our beaches, the geometry of Modernist architecture, the changing colours of skies along the Mersey.
Wrack is a new collection of jewellery exploring the forms and shapes that wash up on our shores. Crafted in beautiful brushed metals, the range includes earrings, pins and necklaces with playful mix and match charms.
Hatch is a triptych of wood-letterpress prints created in collaboration with traditional printmaker Thomas Mayo. The prints celebrate moments of negative space created by the idea of folding and opening hatches and doors.
