Alchemy Wall Art by Jenny Barker

Alchemy Wall Art by Jenny Barker is a Glass disc mounted on a round wooden board. The glass centrepiece is cream, silver and gold and contains gold leaf and silver leaf throughout making the piece beautifully reflective in natural light.

This fused glass piece is created by layered numerous pieces of glass together and firing in a specialised kiln until each of the layers melt and bond together into one piece.

Jen is an internationally renowned glass artist with over three decades of experience in glass art design. She is Melt’s creative director and responsible for all aspects of design and production. Following studies in Glass Design at Wolverhampton and Staffordshire Universities, Jen established her first studio in 1997 and then founded Melt Designs in 2000.
