A Chefs Tiny Trug made out of Ash Wood. Jane designed this trug in collaboration with Gordon Ramsay to be presented within his Kitchens.
The trug is built using craft skills Jane has developed that are inspired by traditional boatbuilder’s techniques and fixings. The Ash is steam-bent, crafted in a clinker like construction, fixed with copper nails and roves and finished with natural hard wax oil.
The lines repeat creating a flow within a solid structure and if the wind blows this trug rocks like a boat.
