Inspiration for this piece was taken from the Violet-capped Hummingbird and Tiffany has placed him on a branch of Orchid blossoms.
This piece has been thrown on the wheel, left to slightly dry and then goes through many different techniques using drawing, carving, clay slips and sgraffito to create the intricate designs onto the damp clay surface.
Every unique design has been created by hand with love, care and attention to detail. Each piece takes many hours and no two will ever look the same.
The piece comes with a disc hanger attached to the back, as well as four felt feet.
